Banyan Tree Luxury Hotels is a group of websites that I provided consultancy with, notably introduced style guides that can be shared resources between a number of domains. Progressively enhancing website features into their own components and built custom microservices and APIs that have since been the foundation of new developments.
The entire structure of the website is built around components and I happen to work with the first iterations of the front-end build. A very tedious work process which involved working with a number of people from design and technical groups. Very pleased that most of the components I built made it into production.
The website was in no way straightforward, having a number of interactions all by itself. Although, the main challenge on this project was to actually build a custom map; plotting the paths and translating coordinates with data from the client.
